Standing in this valley, eyes tracing the jagged skyline, forces have come together to create a singular experience that echoes across millennia.

The intent of The Seneca Project is to showcase the adventures, camaraderie and daily life of not only the climbers of Seneca, but also all of those who have shaped, and been shaped by, Seneca Rocks.

This website aims to capture the aura of life in and around Seneca Rocks WV. It began as the brain child of Andre Dahlmann and his wife Theresa Keefe who photographed and catalogued some of the historic gear at the Gendarme.
